Kennedy Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting

The holiday season is upon us, and Kennedy Plaza is ready to shine!

Join the Long Beach City Council at the Annual Kennedy Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, presented by Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 5:30 PM in front of City Hall.  The Long Beach High School Jazz Ensemble will play holiday favorites and we will announce those chosen to light this years tree from "Nominate Someone Great".

Santa will make a grand entrance with help from the Long Beach Fire Department, adding to the evening's magic. Support the City Clerk's Annual Toys for Tots Drive by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the collection bin. After the lighting, enjoy hot chocolate, warm cookies, donuts and candy canes. Kids are invited to add their names to the ornaments on the tree and to send letters to Santa. Commemorative Tree Lighting Ornaments will be available while supplies last.

We extend our gratitude to our generous sponsors, Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center,  Skudin Surf and Swim, Toast of Long Beach, d'e Caffe', Mt Sinai South Nassau, Wet End Dunkin and Amazon Fresh.

We hope you will join us at this wonderful city tradition.

Don't miss the Grand Menorah Lighting on December 26, marking another joyous occasion.
