Membership

The City of Long Beach Parks and Recreation facility offers a variety of membership options to suit different needs, with options of 3, 6, and 12 months, making it one of the best deals in town. To join, members must provide proof of residency, age, and, if applicable, employment or military status for special rates. Acceptable forms include a current utility bill, photo ID, or relevant employment/military identification.

Membership grants unlimited access to numerous amenities such as the pool, weight room, cardio equipment, and steam room. There are age restrictions in certain areas.

The Recreation Center is open seven days a week.  Members are required to carry and present their membership cards at the front desk each time they use the facility or pay the daily admission rate.  There will be NO exceptions made. requiring members to display their membership cards at each visit or pay a daily admission fee. (See below). Reservations are available for lap swimming and can be made by phone, provided you have a valid membership. Reservations can be made by calling 516-431-3890. 

The facility adheres to CDC guidelines and Board of Health protocols to ensure a safe environment for all visitors.

Payments can be made via cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard, though a service fee applies for card transactions. Note that memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
