Registration Now Open For 4th Of July Race
The Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that registration for the Fabulous 4th of July 4K Race and Children's 1K Race is now underway. The race, in memory of Sgt. Sean Ryan of the Long Beach Police Department will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 and is a great way to celebrate the start of a healthy summer. The 1K children's fun run will begin at 8:00 am and the 4K race will begin at 8:30 am.

Summer Camp
The City of Long Beach is happy to announce several options for Summer Camp. The Department of Parks and Recreation will hold their Summer Morning Camp Program and Afternoon Sports Camp Program, DayTrippers Full Day Camp and IncrediFlix Indoor camp. Please click here for more details.
Memorial Day Closings
Memorial Day Parade
The Joint Veterans Organization and the City of Long Beach are happy to announce that the annual Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026 and steps off from Ohio Avenue and West Beech Street at 10am.The parade will proceed to Park Avenue via New York Avenue and march to City Hall. This year's Grand Marshal is Commander Gerald Haber of the American Legion.
Please come out and line the streets to honor and remember those who served and sacrificed for our country. If your organization is interested in marching please email, lbevents@longbeachny.gov. This event is rain or shine.
