Planning Board

The Planning Board, except as otherwise restricted by this Code or the charter of the city, after notice and hearing, and subject to appropriate conditions and safeguards, may make determinations of and recommendations to applications to ensure consistency with established community standards.  Such applications include the following:

  • New construction of three or more dwelling units on one lot
  • Enlargement of a structure with three or more dwelling units by more than 25% in gross square footage
  • A nonresidential use or structure or a group of uses or structures
  • New mixed use and renovation
  • Subdivision
  • Architectural Review Board
