Photos Wanted! 

The City of Long Beach is looking for photo enthusiasts to submit photos for the official 2026 City of Long Beach Calendar.  Deadline for submissions is the end of October.

Please submit horizontal photos only of our beautiful City.  We are looking for photos that depict Long Beach in an unusual way but include the ocean, bay, beachfront, summer, winter, spring and fall.  In addition, we encourage the following themes: What makes Long Beach the best place to live, work and play?  Why do you love Long Beach?  Your favorite Long Beach Event.  Your favorite Season in our city. Living the #LongBeachLife.

Photos should include the name of the photographer and the month/season in which the photo was taken.  All photos must be taken within the City of Long Beach. Twelve photos will be chosen to appear as the cover photo for each month.  Additional smaller photos will also be chosen for each month.

Please do not send vertical pictures or pictures taken from a cell phone unless they are high quality.  All photos should be submitted in high resolution by October 21st to lbevents@longbeachny.gov. 

Photos submitted grant the City of Long Beach the absolute right and permission to use the submitted photograph(s) in any manner or media, including, but not limited to, the following purposes:

Publications including the City Calendar 
Advertising and promotional materials
Social media platforms
Websites
Press releases
