Join the Beaches Jewish Community for a joyous celebration of Chanukah at the Grand Menorah Lighting event, set to take place in Kennedy Plaza, right in front of City Hall, on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 6:00 pm. This special occasion will feature the lighting of Long Island's largest Menorah, symbolizing the festival's spirit of light and unity.

City officials, along with local community organizations, will partake in the festivities, making it a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community.   Enjoy the Great Chocolate Gelt Drop, hot potato latkes, jelly donuts, hot coffee and music as we celebrate this meaningful holiday and its message of hope and resilience. All are welcome to share in the festive cheer and cultural richness of this special event. The Menorah will be lit each night in Kennedy Plaza.

Thank you to our sponsor Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
