FABULOUS 4TH OF JULY 4K RACE IN MEMORY OF SEAN RYAN

The Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation will hold the Annual Fabulous Fourth of July 4K Race & 1K Children's Fun Run in Memory of Sgt. Sean Ryan on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Registration begins at 6:30am at Laurelton Boulevard and the boardwalk. IN-PERSON REGISTRATION: Early bird in-person registration through 7/1/24 by 12:00pm $35.00  (At the LB Recreation Center Lobby – 700 Magnolia Boulevard) (Checks payable to City of Long Beach) (Visa/ MasterCard in person only). After 7/1/24 and day of Race $45.00 from 6:30 – 7:30am at Laurelton Blvd and the boardwalk.

$15.00 registration fee for kids 1K Fun run.

ONLINE REGISTRATION: Register online at https://events.elitefeats.com/4thofjulyrace24. Early Bird Registration online $35.00 through 7/1/24. After 7/1/24 and day of Registration is $45.00.

COURSE: Accurately measured 4-K (2.49 miles), flat & fast course. Professionally timed. No baby strollers allowed on racecourse. *Start & finish on the boardwalk at Laurelton Boulevard

 

AWARDS: Awards to the first three male & female winners in each age category: 14 & under,15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 – 79, 80+; first overall male & female; first Long Beach male & female; first in wheelchair division and top three finishers from the LB Police Department.

T-SHIRT & NUMBER PICKUP: T-shirt and number pick up will take place on DAY OF RACE beginning at 6:30 a.m. at Laurelton Blvd and the boardwalk.
