Tax Assessor

The Assessor is responsible for the inspection, data collection and valuation of all real property within the boundaries of the City of Long Beach. The Assessor also processes property tax exemptions: Senior Citizen, Veteran and Capital Improvement. 

Property owners who feel that they are unfairly assessed may review the assessment roll and file a grievance petition from January 2nd through Tuesday January 21, 2025.
