SNOWFLAKE RACE
The City of Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation is currently registering runners for the 2024 4-Mile Snowflake Race in memory of Joseph F. Farrell. The race will take place on Saturday, February 3rd at 9:00am. The fee for the race is $35.00 for those who pre-register by January 30 by 4:00pm and the day of race registration fee is $45.00.
Day of race registration, number and t-shirt pick-up will take place from 7:00am to 8:30am at Long Beach Catholic Regional School, in the gymnasium, located at 735 West Broadway. Registrants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt on a first come, first served basis.
This year ‘s Recreation Snowflake Race awards will be given to the first three male and female in each of the following age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75- 79 and 80 plus. Awards will also be presented to the first overall male and female finishers, and the top wheelchair finisher.
The Snowflake Race begins on Grand Boulevard and the Boardwalk, weather permitting. The Awards Ceremony will be held at the gym. Register online by clicking here.
