City of Long Beach Ice Arena

The City of Long Beach Municipal Ice Arena, located at 150 West Bay Drive
at the Recreation Campus, is open year-round
and offers public skating, sticks & pucks sessions,
youth and adult hockey programs & freestyle sessions for figure skaters. 
Please Note: We do not host birthday parties, for information on the snack bar you must contact them directly.

Important Reminders:

  • Added Freestyle Session: Sunday, June 14th 11:30am-1:00pm.
  • As always, with the warmer weather upon us, we no longer offer Public Sessions regularly. Public Skating will return in the Fall 2026 - if we are able to add any public skating sessions in the summer it will be posted under our schedules section.

Joey Diamond Hockey Summer Clinics

We’re excited to share that Joey Diamond will be running Summer Hockey Clinics all summer long!
Squirt (10U) through Midget (18U) Players ONLY
Friday night sessions beginning June 19th (excluding Friday, July 3rd)
Monday late afternoon sessions beginning June 22nd (excluding Monday, August 3rd)

Joey Diamond Hockey Summer Camp


Get ready for a fun-filled summer on the ice! The 2026 Joey Diamond Hockey Summer Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6–12 and focuses on building skills, confidence, and love for the game. Held in late July and early August, players can choose to attend 1 or 2 weeks of high-energy training. Led by Joey Diamond Hockey, the camp covers skating, stickhandling, shooting, and gameplay in a positive, supportive environment for all skill levels. To register, contact JoeyDiamondHockey@gmail.com

Junior Rangers Rookie Series

The New York Rangers are continuing to grow the future of RangersTown with the Junior Rangers Rookie Series, a program specially designed in cooperation with USA Hockey to introduce young beginners to the game of hockey. Children will experience the fun and excitement of hockey, while learning the basic skills needed to enjoy the sport and have success on the ice.
  This is a private program run by the New York Rangers organization, any questions about registration must go directly to them at junior.rangers@msg.com
The next Junior Rangers programs will begin in September 2027. You must sign up through the NYR.
