Plumbers


The following must be included with you application:

  • Completed notarized application.
  • Photograph (2” x 2”, new applicants only).
  • Copy of master plumber’s license and Certificate of Competency from a member of the Nassau County Tri-Town Agreement.
  • Copy of current liability insurance ($500,000).
  • Copy of Certificate of Workers’ Compensation  Insurance (C-105.2 or U-26.3) or a Certificate of Attestation of Exemption (Form CE-200) and Compliance with the Disability Benefits Law.  ACORD forms are not acceptable..  
  •  

Fees:

  • Fee:  $400.00.  License will be for two years or part thereof, depending on date of issuance.
  • If this is a new application and your business is located OUTSIDE Nassau County also submit a check for $70.00.
  • Late applications are subject to a $30.00 late fee.
  • Make all checks payable to City Of Long Beach

 

Expiration: License expires May 31st of second year of license.

 

 

Please Note:

  • All new applicants must appear in person before the plumbing board for a preliminary examination.  The applicant will be notified by mail when to appear.
  • If applying on behalf of a company, the licensed plumber must own 51% of the company.
