Recycling: Glass, Metal, Plastic
When:The City of Long Beach uses a Dual Stream Recycling program. This means that residents separate paper and carboard and place in one container and other recyclables such as plastic, glass and metal in another.
The materials recycled will alternate weekly, so paper and cardboard will be picked up on week 1 and the following Wednesday will be pickup for glass, metal and plastic.
THIS WEEK, PLEASE RECYCLE GLASS, METAL & PLASTIC.
Commercial Recycling pickup will continue six days a week as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Clean Mixed Paper and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Mixed Containers.
