Commercial Real Estate Advisory & Brokerage Services for the City of Long Beach, New York
When:Objective
The City of Long Beach, (the “City”), is seeking proposals for commercial real estate advisory and brokerage services for the City of Long Beach, New York. The City is seeking proposals from highly qualified firms to provide the requested services.
The City anticipates that the selected firm will be awarded a contract period of an initial one (1) year term with a one (1) year renewal term. The renewal will be contingent upon mutual and written agreement.
Purpose
This engagement will focus on commercial real estate and brokerage services to assist the City in the evaluation of potential short and long-term options for its real estate and land holdings within the City to maximize the economic value from City owned properties. The minimum professional services which the City seeks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Evaluate opportunities that may exist at other City-owned buildings and/or parcels of land, including a full evaluation of properties that may sold;
- Evaluate options for its governmental operations currently housed at One West Chester Street, Long Beach, New York;
- Prepare a detailed financial analysis with ongoing updates and analysis for potential scenarios to test the economic viability of the City’s comprehensive plan;
- Prepare an analysis that includes a range of possible scenarios to enable to the City to fully comprehend all real estate options available for its operations; and
- Identify the City’s optimal strategy to determine its best course for future governmental operations.
