BEACH ACCESS

The City provides ADA beach mats (Mobi Mats) at numerous beaches.

For 2021, the City will provide extended Mobi-Mat access at the following beaches:

Minnesota Avenue

New York Avenue

Lafayette Boulevard

Riverside Boulevard

Neptune Boulevard

In addition to the Mobi-Mats, the City has All-Terrain Beach Chairs available upon request at all beaches. To request a beach chair contact Lifeguard Headquarters at (516) 431-1810. The chair will be delivered to your location by a lifeguard. Patrons may also arrange for a beach chair at a specific time and location ahead of time by calling Lifeguard Headquarters at the number listed above.
