The Road Ahead to an even better Long Beach

Did you know that this year alone, there are 38 large and small roadway projects planned, in progress, and/or completed? That’s more than 4 miles of improvements!

Projects completed so far in 2024:

Repaving: Tennessee Ave from Park to Beach, Wyoming Ave from Park to Beach, Wyoming Ave south of Oceanview, Atlantic Avenue, Taft Avenue, Broadway from Riverside to Long Beach, Park Ave between Riverside and Long Beach, Shore Road from Roosevelt to Pacific

Full Road Reconstruction: 200 Block of East Market Street between Long Beach Blvd and Monroe Blvd

There are many road improvement projects ahead, including the full reconstruction of Heron Street, and the repaving of significant portions of Walnut and Olive Streets, to name a few. Click here for a map of planned, in progress, and/or completed projects taking place throughout the City.
