The Dog Park can be accessed from Pine Street on the National Boulevard side of the Long Beach Recreation Center. It is open daily from 7am until dusk and is located right next to the Skateboard Park and the Municipal Boat Launch Ramp. No more than three dogs per person. Aggressive dogs are not permitted.
The City’s Department of Public Works is pleased to announce that the new, temporary, dog park is officially open. It is located at Park Place, immediately east of Posh Pets Rescue shelter. It will be open from dawn until dusk each day. The new space was constructed to provide dog owners a place to exercise and socialize their pets while the former park is closed to facilitate construction of a bulkhead along the Bayfront and for consolidation of the sewage treatment plant.
