Land Use Advisory Board
An advisory board to the department of planning and development is created to consist of eleven (11) members to be appointed by the city manager and to serve at the will of the City Manager and without compensation. No term limit.
The Land Use Advisory board shall have the following duties and functions:
- To study and report and recommend to the department of city planning and development on all matters referred to it by the director of the department of city planning and development or by the City Council or by the City Manager.
- To promote public interest in and understanding in the physical development of the City of Long Beach and in all matters falling within the authority of the department of city planning and development.
- To meet not less than once a month and at such other times as called for by the director of the department of city planning and development to keep record of its activities and meetings resolutions findings and determinations.
