Environmental Advisory Board

The Environmental Advisory Board shall have the following powers and duties: (a) To advise, assist and make recommendations to the city manager and the city council in developing policies designed to help protect, restore and enhance the environment. (b) To coordinate city programs and activities relating to environmental issues. (c) To stimulate community interest in environmental issues. (d) To promote public awareness of resources available and to refer the public to appropriate departments and agencies of the city, state and federal governments for advice and assistance regarding environmental issues. (e) To cooperate with and assist in the development of local programs to protect, restore and enhance the environment.”
