Postponed - 44th Annual Biathlon
When:The 44th Annual Beach Biathlon scheduled for Saturday, July 13, 2024, has been postponed due to hazardous surf conditions and the forecasted lightning and rain. We are working with all parties to reschedule the race. longbeachny.gov/races
The 44th Annual Biathlon will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 on Riverside Blvd.. Competitors will run 3 miles on the beach and swim 300 yards in the ocean.
Children's race begins at 8:30am an adults' at 9:00 am. The event will feature 3 different course measurements. For children ages 7 – 12 there will be a half mile run with a 50 yard shallow swim. For young teens ages 13 – 15 there will be a one mile run with a 150 yard swim. For adults there will be a 3 mile run with a 300 yard swim.
