AOH Irish Heritage Parade & Festival

The Ancient Order of Hibernians 37th Annual Irish Heritage Parade and Festival will begin at 10:00 am.  The parade steps off from Washington Boulevard and West Park Avenue at 11:00am and proceeds to Beech Street in the West End. The parade will feature pipe bands, marching bands, and various Veteran, Religious, and Civic organizations.  The festival includes vendors, food trucks, rides, games, and a rich lineup of Irish entertainment along West Beech Street until 4:00pm.

There will be NO parking on West Beech St, between New York Ave. and Connecticut Ave from 6AM and until 7PM on Saturday. West Beech St. will close to traffic at 7AM. The Festival will end at 4PM and West Beech will be cleared by 5PM. The West End Bus Loop will run on West Park Ave during the festival.  All buses will be free to riders on Saturday after 4pm.

As we all take part in this celebration of Irish heritage, we ask that participants abide by the rules and act in a safe manner so everyone can enjoy the festivities.
