Kids Bike Safety Rodeo

Registration is now open for the Long Beach Bike Safety Rodeo! The City of Long Beach New York Police Department, in collaboration with the Kiwanis Club of Long Beach #KCLB and Legislator Patrick Mullaney, is thrilled to one again host the Kids Bike Safety Rodeo on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Location: Recreation Campus parking lot, 700 Magnolia Boulevard

Time: Choose from two sessions: 10:00AM - 11:30AM or 11:30AM - 1:00PM

Ages: 4 to 12 years

This is a fantastic opportunity for children to enhance their bike safety skills. Each participant will have their bike and helmet checked, then navigate a skills course designed to boost their cycling confidence. Every child will leave with valuable safety information and a certificate of completion. In addition to the rodeo, enjoy fun activities like tattoos, helmet decorating, and bike raffles!

Space is limited, so register early! It's first-come, first-served.

Children must bring a bike and helmet and wear sneakers.

Helmets will be available on-site while supplies last.
