City of Long Beach Ice Arena

The City of Long Beach Municipal Ice Arena, located at 150 West Bay Drive
at the Recreation Campus, is open year round
and offers public skating, sticks & pucks sessions,
youth and adult hockey programs & freestyle sessions for figure skaters. 
Please Note: We no longer host birthday parties.
 

Our Public Skating Sessions will return on the weekend of October 12th & 13th on Saturdays & Sundays from 12:15pm-1:45pm.

House League Hockey

We plan to begin the program on Monday, October 7th. The Fall session will be held on Mondays from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM, exclusively for children aged 6 to 12 years. During this clinic-style program, participants will learn both the fundamentals of hockey and game play. In the Winter/Spring session, the children will be divided into two age groups, and then further split into three teams to engage in organized games. 

Registration begins on Friday, September 6th at 2:00pm. You can register in person, by phone or via e-mail. However, please note that enrollment by e-mail is not confirmed until you receive a response. Click here for the application!

Learn to Skate Program

Our Learn to Skate Program is set to start on the weekend of October 19th and 20th, with a six-week duration. Sessions will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Participants are required to choose between Saturday or Sunday for this once-a-week program. Please be aware that advance registration and full payment are necessary.

Junior Rangers Rookie Series

The New York Rangers are continuing to grow the future of RangersTown with the Junior Rangers Rookie Series, a program specially designed in cooperation with USA Hockey to introduce young beginners to the game of hockey. Children will experience the fun and excitement of hockey, while learning the basic skills needed to enjoy the sport and have success on the ice.
 
  This is a private program run by the New York Rangers organization, any questions about registration must go directly to them at junior.rangers@msg.com
