City of Long Beach Ice Arena

The City of Long Beach Municipal Ice Arena, located at 150 West Bay Drive
at the Recreation Campus, is open year-round
and offers public skating, sticks & pucks sessions,
youth and adult hockey programs & freestyle sessions for figure skaters. 
Please Note: We do not host birthday parties, for information on the snack bar you must contact them directly.

Joey Diamond Hockey Spring Clinics

We’re excited to share that Joey Diamond will be running Spring Hockey Clinics beginning this weekend.
Mites & Squirts:
Sunday sessions (see attached for full details)
Bantam 14U through Midget 18U:
Friday night sessions beginning this weekend (see attached for full details)
These clinics are a great opportunity for players to continue developing their skating, skills, and game play in a high-energy, focused environment.

Joey Diamond Hockey Summer Camp


Get ready for a fun-filled summer on the ice! The 2026 Joey Diamond Hockey Summer Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6–12 and focuses on building skills, confidence, and love for the game. Held in late July and early August, players can choose to attend 1 or 2 weeks of high-energy training. Led by Joey Diamond Hockey, the camp covers skating, stickhandling, shooting, and gameplay in a positive, supportive environment for all skill levels. To register, contact JoeyDiamondHockey@gmail.com

Youth Hockey Winter/Spring 2025 House League

This program officially begins on Monday, February 2nd. As always, the first two weeks will be dedicated to evaluations so we can assess each child’s skill level and create balanced teams. We will be off on Monday, February 16th for Presidents Day, games will begin on Monday, February 23rd.

Rosters will be sent out prior to the games beginning!!!

Learn to Skate Program

There will not be a Spring Learn to Skate class due to many scheduling conflicts & more importantly, limited staff at this time.  Our next Learn to Skate class will begin in the Fall 2026.  Please check back here after Labor Day weekend for more information.

Junior Rangers Rookie Series

The New York Rangers are continuing to grow the future of RangersTown with the Junior Rangers Rookie Series, a program specially designed in cooperation with USA Hockey to introduce young beginners to the game of hockey. Children will experience the fun and excitement of hockey, while learning the basic skills needed to enjoy the sport and have success on the ice.
  This is a private program run by the New York Rangers organization, any questions about registration must go directly to them at junior.rangers@msg.com
The next Junior Rangers programs will begin in September 2027. You must sign up through the NYR.
