THE LIGHT IT UP LONG BEACH DIGITAL MAP IS NOW LIVE!!

🎉The Holiday House Digital Map is now live! 🎉

Grab your hot cocoa and embark on a festive adventure to discover holiday cheer across our beautiful city. From the East End to the West End, and from the Beach to the Bay, countless homes are waiting to dazzle you with their twinkling lights.

🌟 Who will shine the brightest? Who will bring the most cheer? Find out by visiting longbeachny.gov/holidaylights to download a printable map or simply click the link for instant access to the digital map. Use the map to visit holiday displays from 6pm - 9pm nightly through January 1. Let the holiday adventures begin! 🎅🏽🏠💡

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Do you love to decorate your house for the holidays?  The City of Long Beach invites residents to join in the 5th Annual Holiday House Decorating Event. This is a community wide project to promote holiday spirit and a perfect way to provide a fun, safe event for the entire family to enjoy! By participating, your home or business will be placed on our Holiday House Digital Map so residents and visitors can view the amazing Long Beach displays.

So pull out your lights, reindeer, wreaths, Santa's, nativities, menorahs, kinaras and creativity!  Who will be the Clark Griswold of Long Beach!  Registration to participate opens Friday, November 22. Simply fill out the online application, decorate your home and be sure to “light it up”. Registration is FREE.  The deadline to be included on the printable map is December 12th but we will continue to add houses to the online map all the way up to Christmas.  See rules and important dates below.

We invite all residents and visitors to travel around town starting Friday, December 13th using the digital map.  Make a night of it!   Visit each home/business and pick your favorites; visit local businesses or enjoy dinner at one of Long Beach's amazing restaurants before touring the displays throughout town.   

Whether you are decorating your house as a family or riding through town to see the decorated homes and storefront window, we hope you will find the spirit and glee of the holiday season here in our “city by the sea”.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS
  • Participation on the map is open to all City of Long Beach residents.
  • Entry is FREE but you must fill out the online application.
  • To be on the printable map, entry applications must be received via longbeachny.gov/holidaylights no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024.  Entries received after will be on the digital map only.
  • Participants agree to have their registered home photographed with photos to be used on the City's website and social media pages.
  • Participants agree to have their address posted on the digital location map of decorated displays which will be placed on the City’s website and social media.
  • Participants should ensure that all lights, animations and decorations are in place and activated by December 13th.
  • Participants are asked to keep your homes decorated through January 1st so that the community can enjoy them by following the digital map.
  • This is for fun and entertainment purposes only, no winners will be announced.
