SUMMARY:Recycling: Glass, Metal & Plastic
DESCRIPTION:The City of Long Beach uses a Dual Stream Recycling program. This means that residents separate paper and carboard and place in one container and other recyclables such as plastic, glass and metal in another. \nThe materials recycled will alternate weekly, so  glass, metal and plastic will be picked up on week 1 and the following Wednesday will be pickup for paper and cardboard.\nTHIS WEEK, PLEASE RECYCLE GLASS, METAL & PLASTIC.\n\nRinse plastic, glass and metal recyclables clean and place into your recycling bin.  Place your recycling container curbside on  alternating Wednesdays. Recycling should not be put out in plastic bags, it should be loose in your recycling container.  No caps or lids please. Place all recycling receptacles curbside after 7:00 p.m. the day prior to collection and no later than 7:00 a.m. day of collection. Click here for a list of acceptable recyclables.\n\n
