FIREWORKS 2024
THE CITY OF LONG BEACH FIREWORKS DISPLAY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO SATURDAY, JULY 13TH
Important announcement about the Fireworks Display scheduled for this Friday, July 12th:
Sometimes in life, a little rain must fall… or in this Friday’s case, potentially a lot of rain.
That’s why we have made the decision to move our City of Long Beach Fireworks Display to its rain date—this SATURDAY, JULY 13th at dark.
Due to the complicated nature of gearing up for the fireworks show, the logistics, water conditions for the barge, and overall safety-- the City needed to make the decision today.
Long Beach won’t let a little (or a lot) of rain dampen our celebratory spirit—we will simply aim to celebrate on Saturday at dark!
The City of Long Beach Fireworks Display takes place Friday, July 12 at dark (approximately 9:10pm).
The fireworks will be visible from anywhere along the boardwalk and beachfront. Head down to the beach of your choice and enjoy the show. Please expect intermittent lane closures & heavy traffic in the area of Broadway and Long Beach Boulevard.
Reminder, there is no glass or alcohol permitted on the Ocean Beach Park. All bags and coolers are subject to search.
We extend our gratitude to the dedicated employees who work tirelessly to maintain the safety & beauty of our City throughout the year. Thank you also to our supporting sponsors Mt. Sinai South Nassau and Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The rain date is Saturday, July 13
