City Council Meetings
When are City Council Meetings? The Long Beach City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of every month in City Hall, 6th floor at 7:00pm. Click here for a schedule. The public may make comments or ask questions pertaining to specific agenda items at the appropriate time.
Good and Welfare, an opportunity for the public to speak on any topic pertaining to the City, is held following each regular meeting. Those who wish to speak must sign in prior to the start of the meeting. Sign ups will be accepted until the Council votes to close the meeting. Please note that Good and Welfare is not held during special meetings.
Agendas are available for the public in the Office of the City Clerk two business days before the meeting (generally on the Friday before each meeting)
All City Council meetings are live streamed on our YouTube channel. For live video and archived videos click here.
