City Council President Brendan Finn and the Long Beach City Council, in collaboration with Brand Builders, Inc., are excited to announce the City of Long Beach's Summer of 2025 Community Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale. This fantastic initiative will offer residents compost bins and rain barrels at discounted rates. Composting and using a rain barrel are excellent methods for enhancing our community’s sustainability while contributing positively to the environment. Composting is an excellent way to reduce trash going to landfills and allows you to make your own compost! Rain Barrels reduce water costs, keep our water clean and provide a natural source of water for plants and gardens all while reducing the number of pollutants that enter our storm drains.
