Description:
Case #2773: App. of 73rd Meridian Partners LLC of 165 West 73rd St., New York, NY involves a request for a variance from the following sections of the Zoning Code of Ordinances of the City of Long Beach, NY: 9-105.12(b) Height; 9-105.12(d) Building Area; Sec. 9-105.12(e) Front Yards; 9-105.12(f) Side Yards, unobstructed; 9-105.12(i) Density for a new multiple dwelling with enclosed parking and amenities at 530 W. Broadway, Long Beach, NY also known as Section 59, Block 29, Lot 14-35, 37 & 113 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.
The “FEIS Revised Proposed / Preferred Action” involves the demolition and removal of an existing building (Hebrew Academy of Long Beach) and construction of an eight-story building including six stories above ground floor parking and second level mezzanine that would contain 106 condominium units a 1.72-acre property located at 530 West Broadway, Long Beach, NY (NCTM: Section 59, Block 29, Lots 14-35, 37 & 113). The 106 units would include 16 one-bedroom units, 42 two-bedroom units, and 48 three-bedroom units.
Once the required minimum 10-day FEIS public consideration period has lapsed, a SEQRA Findings Statement will be prepared. Once the Zoning Board adopts the Findings Statement, the SEQRA environmental review process will be complete.
