The City of Long Beach is looking for photo enthusiasts to submit photos for the official 2027 City of Long Beach Calendar. Deadline for submissions is the end of October.
Please submit horizontal photos only of our beautiful City. We are looking for photos that depict Long Beach in an unusual way but include the ocean, bay, beachfront, summer, winter, spring and fall. In addition, we encourage the following themes: What makes Long Beach the best place to live, work and play? Why do you love Long Beach? Your favorite Long Beach Event. Your favorite Season in our city. Living the #LongBeachLife.
Photos should include the name of the photographer and the month/season in which the photo was taken. All photos must be taken within the City of Long Beach. Twelve photos will be chosen to appear as the cover photo for each month. Additional smaller photos will also be chosen for each month.
Photos submitted grant the City of Long Beach the absolute right and permission to use the submitted photograph(s) in any manner or media, including, but not limited to, the following purposes:
Publications including the City Calendar
Advertising and promotional materials
Social media platforms
Websites
Press releases

The City of Long Beach is excited to once again offer sponsorship/advertising opportunities in the Official City of Long Beach Calendar. For over forty years, the City has provided this well-sought-after free publication to its residents and businesses. The calendar is mailed to every residence and business in the City in December and is also available online on the City’s website. It features recycling and sanitation information, meeting dates and times, City events, and other important City information. It also features photographs of our beautiful “city by the sea” taken by locals. Long Beach based businesses and organizations can purchase an ad space to be displayed in the calendar and can select which month(s) you would like to advertise in. Each ad is $750.00 per month. There is an early bird discount of $100.00 per ad if submitted and paid by September 19, 2025. So don’t delay, sign up today. The final deadline for artwork is October 6, 2025.
